Enlightened Reading, Inc. v. Jackson County, 4:08-cv-209, R. 27 (W.D. Mo. 2009)

Jackson County, in the greater-Kansas City metro area, turned to the firm for help in revising and adopting a comprehensive sexually oriented business ordinance.  When the ordinance was challenged in court by local adult businesses, the County promptly filed a dispositive motion and the federal district court granted judgment on the pleadings for the County.  Start to finish, the litigation concluded in just over one year.
