City Littleton v. Z.J. Gifts D-4, LLC, 541 U.S. 774 (2004)

Mr. Bergthold was the principal author of the city's merits brief in City of Littleton v. Z.J. Gifts D-4, LLC.  In that case, the United States Supreme Court ruled 9-0 in favor of Littleton's adult entertainment licensing ordinance and clarified the procedural protections that cities should provide when licensing and regulating sexually oriented businesses.
