Blue Movies, Inc. v. Louisville/Jefferson County Metro Gov't, 317 S.W.3d 23 (Ky. 2010)

Since 2003, the firm has assisted the Louisville Metro government with the drafting and defense of adult business regulations. After updated, comprehensive regulations were adopted, approximately twenty sexually oriented businesses challenged Louisville's regulations in court. The case proceeded through the trial court and Kentucky Court of Appeals, and in April 2010 the regulations were largely upheld as constitutional by the Kentucky Supreme Court. Louisville Metro prevailed on all but one of the 19 distinct issues pressed by the sexually oriented businesses.
