Richland Bookmart, Inc. v. Knox County, 555 F.3d 512 (6th Cir. 2009)

Working with local officials, the firm helped prepare comprehensive regulations for sexually oriented businesses for Knox County. After the regulations were adopted, a strip club and two adult bookstores sued the County in federal court. The County moved the court for summary judgment, and the Eastern District of Tennessee granted the bulk of the County's motion. The parties appealed to the Sixth Circuit, which upheld the constitutionality of the County's licensing and operational regulations.
